Church Supports...
Pete and Cindy Ekstrand serve as the Regional Coordinators for
Africa for Covenant World Mission. Their ministry is focused on
relationships and communication. They are currently working in Congo.
This past winter Pete and Cindy moved to Congo from Cameroon. They
are working alongside pastors relating to healthy marriage and personal
accountability, encouraging Community Health Evangelism, advising the
Congo Covenant Church women’s ministries, coaching in administrative
areas and some facilitation or coaching related to Paul Carlson
Partnership and Covenant World Relief projects.
Ministry prayer requests
- For other missionaries to partner with us in Congo.
- Learning Lingala and Congolese culture.
- That we would set healthy boundaries for ministry and personal time
- For a healthy pattern of responding to people who come to the door
with various personal requests for help. For patience and
understanding as we listen to and care for these people.
- For deep relationships of mutual support with Congolese leaders.

Randy and Cheryl Bevis have been serving in Thailand
since 1996. Randy’s training in fish farming is being used to
help run the main fish hatchery in Chiang Mai and to assist
ministries that use fish farming in other regions of Thailand,
Laos, and Bangladesh. He serves as country coordinator for
the Thailand Covenant Mission. Cheryl has a M.S. in
Communication Disorders and currently works as a speech-
language therapist at Grace International School. She also
provides services to families with special needs outside of Grace.
