NL Covenant Women’s Titus 2 Partnerships “T2P”
3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Titus 2:3-5 (NIV)
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)
The Vision:
To help partner women from our church family with one another (small groups of 2-3), with the intent to model the Biblical principles put forth in Titus 2:3-5, having younger women nurtured, mentored and blessed by relationships with women who have life experience and Godly wisdom to share with them. To encourage partnerships that would model Hebrews 10:24-25 between the generations of women in our church family.
These partnerships would be encouraged to find frequent/common means of communications, monthly connections (lunch/coffee/prayer time) and continual source of encouragement, care and prayer.

Small Groups:A place to “Get Connected!”
We choose a church for many different reasons: Bible teaching and Christian beliefs, worship, music, friends, fellowship, and volunteer opportunities. Every reason requires a connection: to connect with God/Truth, friends and ministry. Community: Building life-giving relationships (Philippians 2:2) Transformation: Becoming More Like Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18) Compassion: Ministering to those who cross our path (Galatians 6:10) Mission: Making more disciples (John 20:21) Small groups are groups of 5 to 12 people who meet regularly together to deepen friendships and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Meeting in homes (or other place of choice) we minister to each other through Bible Study, fellowship and prayer. Small groups are a great way to experience life-giving community and personal transformation because of the intimacy and intentionality of people coming together to learn and grow in their relationship with God and others. Please consider joining a small group. If you feel God calling you to start a small group, please contact Pastor Kevin at church (320-354-2446). Materials are available. |
Fall 2019 Small Group Information coming soon! Sign Up Sheets will be available at Information Desk starting Sunday, September 22, 2019. |
Inquirers Membership Class:
The most recent Inquirers Membership Class for those considering membership here at NLECC was held in February 2019.
For those considering membership here at NLECC or just curious about our church/denomination. Offered Annually in the Winter.
Our denomination believes membership should be based on new life in Christ which means all those seeking membership at ECC share their faith stories with our Elders. This is our true basis for who comes into membership… new life in Christ. However, we do require all to attend the Inquires Class to hear more of our ministries, beliefs, history, core values and denominational distinctive previous to making this important decision. This is good for perspective members OR just those seeking more information about our church and denomination.
