The last two sessions of our “In the Spirit” Adult Sunday School class will take place on Sunday, December 10th, and on Sunday, December 17th. “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” John 6:63 Who is the Spirit of God? What is the mission of the third person in the Trinity? Being Christian is completely dependent on doing and being "in the Spirit" yet he is often overlooked or misunderstood. During this class we are going to look at what scripture says about the Spirit of God and we will ask questions as a group and work on methods on how to answer those questions from what is written in the Bible. Let us find out together what it means to be in the Spirit. This class will meet in the front Fellowship Hall on Sundays at 9am through December 17th and will be facilitated by Ben Zieske and Pastor Matt Christiansen. |

The last two sessions of our “The Heart of Family” Adult Sunday School class will take place on Sunday, December 10th, and on Sunday, December 17th. “The Heart of Family” is designed to share the principles that Kirk and Chelsea Cameron have learned in nearly 30 years of marriage and parenting. They are solid, biblically-based, and faith-filled. This isn't a self-help seminar. This is about bringing the lessons God has taught them to you and growing you as a spouse and as a parent. It’s an investment not just in your family but culture, as Heaven starts in the home and flows out from there. Class facilitators include Melissa Christiansen and Rachel Rambow and the class will meet in the Youth Room in the basement on Sunday mornings at 9am through December 17th. |

SUNDAY, JANUARY 7, 2024
Pastor Mike McCain will facilitate an Adult Sunday School class starting on Sunday, January 7th at 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall. As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are not exempt from the trials and troubles of this world. As a matter of fact, because of our faith we should not be surprised by them. Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble (tribulation)” John 16:33. Sometimes we forget the second half of that verse. “But take heart! I have overcome the world.” How do we become overcomers? Although there are surely many things we desire to overcome, here are the 4 we will consider: * Overcoming Busyness * Overcoming Worry * Overcoming Failure * Overcoming Loss How do we become overcomers? Join us for Sunday School beginning January 7, 2024l |
